Coran and Trel, now on Coruscant, assembled a company of clone forces and were transported back to Athra to reinforce the Republic troops that had been fighting on the ground.Ĭoran and his teacher, A'lia Saske, were assigned on a diplomatic mission to the planet Athra. After being held for three weeks, Coran and A'lia were rescued during a battle led by Miriam Terrik's fleet.ĭuring the rescue, A'lia was badly injured and was transported to Coruscant to heal. Coran was able to send an SOS message to the Republic, which was intercepted by A'lia's former master, Barja Trel. Upon reaching Athra, Coran and A'lia were kidnapped by a Separatist frigate. Coran did not go with him, instead traveling with fellow Padawan A'lia Saske to investigate an intercepted distress signal from the planet Athra.
Shortly before the First Battle of Geonosis, Coran's master departed as part of a Jedi strike team sent to Geonosis. He became a Padawan in 25 BBY, training with an unknown Jedi until the start of the Clone Wars.
During his time at the Jedi temple, he formed a close friendship with his fellow Padawan A'lia Saske. The Jedi Order discovered that Coran was Force-sensitive and brought him to Coruscant for training.
